Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer romantic and comedy movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, was arrived at the theaters this year on the occasion of Sankranthi and was turned out super hit at the box office. Mahesh Babu starrer  was directed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 Fun and Frustration fame and had Karnataka Crush Rashmika Mandanna as a leading lady. Now according to the latest buzz  in the film industry, Rashmika Mandanna of Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade fame was not the first choice of Sarileru Neekevvaru. A gossip has gone around in the media circles is that Fidaa girl Sai Pallavi was the first choice for the film Sarileru Neekevvaru  starring Mahesh Babu but she did not show interest in the film and said no to the makers. So the role fell in the lap of Rashmika Mandanna.

Sai Pallavi is popular for her natural performance. She made her debut in Telugu film industry with romantic drama Fidaa in which she shared the screen space with Mega Prince Varun Tej in the direction of  Sekhar Kammula of Happy Days fame.

 Currently Rashmika is getting ready to romance with Allu Arjun in Sukumar’ Pushpa whereas Sai Pallavi is working with Rana Daggubati in periodic drama Virata Parvam.
