Vaishnav Tej, the brother of Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej and nephew of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan is debuting to film industry with a romantic drama which is titled Uppena. This movie Uppena which has Kriti Shetty in the female lead, is widely promoted with the songs released recently. We have already reported that the makers have postponed the release of Uppena and now it is being heard that Vaishnav Tej starrer is moving to December 2020. The film also has Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the main villain.
The sources close to the makers of Uppena revealed that the postproduction team is planning the schedule according to this. The makers have already wrapped up the shoot of Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty starrer but the reports are coming that the makers decided to reshoot some scenes by making some correction in the script. As Uppena is going to be reshoot and made corrections many times, the budget of the film is tripled.
So, in order to get the profits, the maker are planning to release the film in December. In present conditions due to coronavirus, the movie lover may hesitate to watch the movies in theatres. So, it is better to postpone the release date until the situations comes under control.
