Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Gunasekhar has walked out from the upcoming mythological drama ‘HiranyaKashyapa’, in which Rana Daggubati is playing the lead role but the film maker has busted the fresh rumor in his own style. Gunasekhar took to his Twitter and revealed that the preproduction work of HiranyaKashyapa has been completed and this project is on.
Gunasekhar revealed HiranyaKashyapa’ pre-production work is wrapped up and he is waiting for the situation to come to control to resume the shoot.
Earlier both Gunasekhar and Rana Daggubati have worked together for historic and ward drama Rudhramadevi in 2015, in which Anushka Shetty played the titular role. According to Gunasekhar, Rana Daggubati is the first choice for Hiranyakashyapa.
Gunasekhar has started the work on this film two years ago. The mythological drama Hiranyakashyapa was planned with a whopping budget of Rs 200 crore in multiple languages but now the reports are coming that the production companies have decided to slash the budgets in the wake of the corona crisis.
The mythological project Hiranyakashyapa will involve top-notch visual effects. Besides the handsome hunk of Telugu film Industry, the multi-lingual flick might feature several pan-Indian actors and technicians. Meanwhile, Gunasekhar’s last outing was woman centric movie Rudhramadevi.
