It is known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role in a Telugu movie, which is remake of Malayalam movie Lucifer, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Mohanlal played the main role in the Malayalam version of Lucifer. Earlier there was strong buzz in the film industry that the young director Sujeeth will be handling this remake but later Chiranjeevi brought remake specialist VV Vinayak on the board to helm the Lucifer remake. As VV Vinayak already made remakes like ‘Tagore’ and ‘Khaidi No 150’ with Chiranjeevi, he was given the chance again. NV Prasad will be producing Chiranjeevi starrer Lucifer remake and it is being heard that the script has finally been locked.
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’ Konidela Productions banner will co-produce it with NV Prasad. There are two key roles in this film Lucifer. while one is a negative role, the other one is the role of Chief Minister’ son. The details regarding Lucifer’ remake will be officially announced very soon.
Lucifer is a political movie which earned Rs 200 Cr worldwide in 2019. The movie showcases the power struggle that takes place when the leader of a ruling party dies.
Meanwhile Chiranjeevi is working for his upcoming movie Acharya under the direction of Koratala Siva.
