This is the first time Prabhas and Pooja are working together for a romantic entertainer which is being bankrolled by UV Creations. Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam is one film that a lot of Tollywood movie lovers are looking forward to but there’s another film the director wants to watch and the film is none other than Nithiin starrer Check.

Nithiin starrer Check has Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Prakash Varrier in the female lead roles, and it is being helmed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti.  Sharing how  Radha Krishna Kumar was once Chandrasekhar Yeleti’ assistant and now he is eager to watch Check on the screen.

RRR Fresh update: Alison Doody- Lady Scott heads to India from Ireland

SS Rajamouli has already announced officially, the inclusion of three international actors — Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Alison Doody. Now according to the latest update, Alison Doody is  coming to India from Ireland to join the sets of SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR, which has Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles.

Ray Stevenson, who featured in “Thor”, will play the lead antagonist Scott in the film RRR whereas Olivia Morris is playing Jennifer, the female lead in the film, which stars  Young Tiger Jr NTR, Shriya Saran, Mega Power Star Ram Charan, along with Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. Alison Doody is essaying the role of Lady Scott.

Alison Doody took to her Instagram to share a video and confirmed that she is arriving to India to join the sets of RRR.

SS Rajamouli’ RRR,  which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya, will tell a fictional tale of Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan will play Ramaraju whereas Jr NTR will play Komaram Bheem. Teasers for both the characters from RRR have been released.

Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR is set in the pre-Independence era and  it is slated to hit the theaters next year worldwide in a very grand manner.

Gunasekhar about greatness and legacy of Shaakuntalam

Few weeks ago, suddenly, the film maker Gunasekhar announced Shaakuntalam and the movie lovers were shocked how the director decided to start this movie when he dedicated years for  Rana Daggubati starrer  Hiranyakasyapa.

The director Gunasekhar  revealed that he has to wait for at least 6 to 8 months to take Rana starrer Hiranyakasyapa to sets as it requires huge number of stunt artists and background artists to start the shooting.  So, he decided to start  the movie Shaakuntalam, retelling of epic story from Adi Parva, Mahabharatam.  Gunasekhar is on the hunt of an actress who is full of grace and heavenly beautiful to play the role of Shaakuntala.

Yesterday, the film maker  Gunasekhar took to Twitter to reveal the greatness and legacy of Shaakuntalam. This epic drama Shaakuntalam by Kalidas was the first Indian drama translated into foreign languages. After William Jones translated it in 1789,  later it was translated into 46 foreign languages such as Norwegian, French, Italian etc in  the year 1889.

According to Gunasekhar,  the upcoming film is all about the story  of Shakuntala, daughter of the sage Vishwamitra and the apsara Menaka.  It is based upon an affair, secret marriage, separation of imprecation and reunion of immortal love of Shaakuntala and Dushyant.

Samantha shared the few pics of tiger and Jungle Safari on Instagram and said, “Hello Maya -Queen of Tadoba. I have never seen a creature more majestic, to see this beauty in her natural habitat was everything. One day absurdity of slavery of  the animals will be palpable.”

On the work front, Samantha is making her debut in the digital world with the Family Man Season 2 in which she will be seen in a central character. Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is reprising the role of Srikant Tiwari, a family man working as a senior analyst in the TASC force, a fictional wing of India’ Anti-Terror squad.

It is helmed by Raj and DK.  The Family Man 2 also has Priyamani, Darshan Kumar, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha and Mahek Thakur.

After delivering RX 100, Ajay Bhupathi is back with an upcoming film Maha Samudram. According to the latest update, the shoot of this upcoming film Maha Samudram will be commenced in the first week of November month and according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the  first schedule of Maha Samudram will take place in Goa in which the makers will shoot the crucial scenes. Siddharth is going to  share screen space with Sharwanand in his upcoming film, Maha Samudram, under the direction of Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame.

The film, which has Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel in the female lead roles, is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara and it will be an intense love story with a lot of commercial elements in it.

Siddharth was last seen in a Telugu film Gruham, which released in 2017. This project  Maha Samudram will be a comeback of sorts for him in Telugu cinema.  Aditi Rao Hydari’ previous offering was Mohana Krishna Indraganti’ V starring Natural Star Nani, Sudheer Babu and Nivetha Thomas.

It is also worth mentioning that Samantha  Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya were earlier considered to play the lead roles in Ajay Bhupathi’ Maha Samudram. However, due to various issues, the things didn’t materialize.

Mahesh Babu along with his family- Wife Namrata and kids- Gautam and Sitara will fly to USA on 24th December and  entire family will celebrate the New Year there. The team of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will land in USA by 30th December.

The USA schedule of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will continue for 45 days without breaks. Portions involving Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh are likely to be shot in the first schedule. Mahesh Babu might be seen playing dual roles – a pawn broker and bank officer in the film. The film makers might rope in actors from other languages as well.

On the otherside, Mahesh Babu is currently working on his production venture, Major in which  Adivi Sesh is playing the lead role.

Finally VV Vinayak opens up about shelved project

VV Vinayak is one of the star directors in the  Telugu film industry.   Recently he decided to make his debut  as a hero and the noted producer Dil Raju came forward to fund the film. The titled Seenayya was locked for VV Vinayak’ film but unfortunately, the film got shelved now.

It is known news that Vinayak has reduced several kilos from his body to fit in the role and looked super-fit in the poster.  It was heard that VV Vinayak himself asked the producer Dil Raju to shelve Seenayya after seeing the rushes of the film.

Recently during the media interaction when VV Vinayak was asked about  this shelved project Seenayya to which he replied: the only good thing that the film has achieved is making me lose weight. Though Vinayak is happy as he has lost the weight but he is also unhappy as the movie was shelved.

On the other hand, Vinayak will be directing the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit film Lucifer, which will be bankrolled by NV Prasad in association with Konidela Productions. Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role in VV Vinayak’ directorial venture- Lucifer remake. The  upcoming film marks Chiranjeevi’ third collaboration with VV Vinayak after Tagore and Khaidi No 150.

BJP- Bharitya Jantha Party state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar warned that he would chase filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who is currently helming magnum opus RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, if  the makers releases the movie RRR with content that will hurt the feelings and sentiments of Adivasis.

On the occasion of Jr NTR’birthday, SS Rajamouli unveiled RRR Bheem teaser  which went viral on the social media. Jr NTR’s Muslim look in the teaser became the talk of town. A section of the people said that Rajamouli has distorted facts and history in RRR. Sanjay Kumar fired on Rajamouli  for picturising the tribal leader Komaram Bheem, who fought Nizams for liberation of Hyderabad, as a Muslim with a skull cap.

Sanjay Kumar  asked RRR helmer  to make a film with the Muslim leader (Owaisi) in the Old City of Hyderabad or of any nawab of the Nizam regime with a tilak on the forehead and wearing a saffron dress if he had  the guts.

Sanajy warned Rajamouli that BJP cadres will not remain as silent if SS Rajamouli hurts the sentiments of Hindus.

RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, is the fictitious tale of two real life Telugu heroes–freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sithaeamaraju.

Kajal Aggarwal took to her Instagram to share a few pics from her wedding ceremony and said, “And just like that, from ms to mrs! I married my companion, soul mate and best friend. I am happy as i found all of this and my home in you.”  Coming on the pic, Kajal Aggarwal is seen planning a kiss on husband  Gautam’ hand.
