It is known news that Stylish Star Allu Arjun played the role of Kakatiya Military chieftain Gona Ganna Reddy in the period drama Rudhramadevi, directed by Gunasekhar, which has Anushka Shetty in the lead role. Bunny’ Gona Ganna Reddy role , is one of the most memorable performances in the history of Tollywood. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, a biopic of Gona Ganna Reddy is on the card and the makers are planning to approach none other than Nandmauri Balakrishna, who is popular for acting in historic movies such as Gautami Putra Satakarni, and Sri Rama Rajyam.
Gona Ganna Reddy was a soldier to one of the few ruling queens Rani Rudrama Devi in the Indian history and he ruled Vardhamaanapuram.
The biopic of Gona Ganna Reddy is in discussion and the talks are in the initial stage, and the makers are planning to approach Nandamuri Balakrishna to play the lead role. The popular directors are in consideration to helm this biopic and once the director is finalized, the pre production work will be started. If everything goes accordingly, Balakrishna will start the shoot of this biopic after wrapping up the shoot of his ongoing project #BB3.
Currently Balakrishna is working with Boyapati Srinu in an upcoming actioner drama #BB3.
