Nitya Kodali has won the crown of Miss Teen Telugu Universe. Finalists from over 40 countries including India, Canada, Australia, Dubai, and the UK competed for the prestigious title. The event was conducted by WTCF in collaboration with more than 100 organizations internationally.
Nitya was chosen from over 700 semi-finalists to compete in the grand finals representing her Indian Telugu community in the pageant. The pageant consisted of multiple rounds including introduction, ramp walk, talent, and question-and-answer.
The jury panel declared Nitya Kodali the title winner of Miss Teen Telugu Universe 2020 and she received the crown from Miss Earth India, Dr. Tejaswini Manogna. Nitya was one of the youngest contestants in the pageant at just 15 years old. In the same category 1st runner up given to Sathvika Movva and 2nd runner up awarded to Sushmita Kolloju.
Her passion for community service drove her to become the founder, director, and CEO of her global nonprofit. In her free time, Nitya volunteers at Houston’s Telugu school as a teacher and helps promote her language and culture. She placed 1st rank at her school of over 800 students.
