Colors Swathi’ last Telugu release was in 2017- London Babulu. She did a Malayalam film, Thrissur Pooram, which was released in 2019. Currently she is busy in her upcoming movie Panchathantram. She has joined the shoot and the look of Swathi from the sets of her film “Panchathantram” has been leaked.
It is known news that after tying the knot with a pilot, Swathi left India to lead a simple life and now after a gap, she is making her comeback in Tollywood with this film.
She has also started the shoot of her new film Panchathantram which is being helmed by a newcomer Harsha Pulipaka and backed by Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan under the banner of Ticket Factory and S Originals.
According to the makers, the upcoming film Panchathantram is a heart-warming tale of five senses and one emotion. Swathi Reddy is playing one of the lead roles in this tale that also has Naresh Agastya, Rahul Vijay, Shivathmika Rajasekhar, Divya Drishti, Vikas, Samuthirakhani, and Brahmanandam in the crucial roles.
Her nick name Colours Swathi comes from her stint in the Telugu tv show Colours, which was telecast on Maa TV. After playing supporting roles, the actress made her debut as a leading actress in Tamil movie Subramaniapuram.
