Abhiram Daggubati is the son of producer Suresh Babu and the younger brother of  Rana Daggubati. Now according to the latest report, Abhiram is all set to make his debut in Telugu film Industry. Suresh Babu offered the responsibility of introducing  his younger song Abhiram to Teja, who once used to make films with newcomers. The upcoming project of Abhiram Daggubati has been titled Ahimsa and it was launched yesterday with a pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.

Teja, who is known for making romantic movies, has decided to make an action drama this time.  Currently the  makers are busy in the hunt for a female lead. The sources say that though the makers approached Uppena girl Krithi Shetty to play the female lead but as she has a number of projects in her kitty, is not able to allot the dates for the shoot, so she rejects the offer.

The upcoming film Ahimsa starring Abhiram Daagubati is bankrolled by Gemini Kiran of Anandi Art Creations  and it will have music by RP Patnaik.

The sources say that  Abhiram is going to play the challenging role in his debut.  Very soon the official announcement regarding the remaining cast and crew will be made.
