After a gap of three years, the Jana Sena chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan made his comeback in the acting field with the court room drama Vakeel Saab, which was the remake of Hindi national award winning movie Pink. Vakeel Saab was helmed by Venu Sriram and jointly backed by noted producer Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Apparently, the film Vakeel Saab had its world television premiere on 18th July at 6 pm on Zee Telugu. As per the data the Pawan Kalyan starrer has failed to beat Allu Arjun starrer action and romantic movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru. Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan starrer court room drama Vakeel Saab has garnered a TRP rating of 19.12 with its world television premiere.
The TRPs shows the power of Pawan Kalyan in the masses. Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, helmed by Trivikram Srinivas, which has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady stands at the top position with 29.4 TRP rating.
Interestingly Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru, Prabhas and SS Rajamouli’ film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Srimanthudu are on the second, third and fourth spots with ratings 23.04, 22.7 and 22.54 respectively.
Apart from Pawan Kalyan, the film Vakeel Saab also has, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj in the crucial roles.
