Thala Ajith Kumar is currently working for his upcoming film Valimai, which is directed by Vinoth, who rose to fame after the release of his film Theeran: Adhigaram Ondru, and Yuvan Shankar Raja is on board to score the music. Before Valimai, the team worked together for Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of the Bollywood film Pink, which was released in 2019 and it was a hit at the box office. Ajith starrer action drama has been under production for almost two years, and now the Coronavirus pandemic has delayed the film process even further. Now according to the latest update, Ajith starrer Valimai has made a huge price at pre-business, even without revealing the first look. Valimai has earned Rs 200 Cr at the pre-release business, which has become the hot topic in South Indian Film Industry.
Earlier, Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’ and Vijay’s ‘Bigil’ have done a pre-business of Rs 370 Cr and Rs 220 Cr respectively. Now the fans of Ajith are now waiting for the first look.
In Vinoth’ directorial venture, Ajith is essaying the role of a police officer and the upcoming actioner is produced by Boney Kapoor in association with Zee Studios. The makers of Valimai are planning to release the film in theatres this Dussehra.
