The veteran actor, filmmaker and politician Dasari Narayana Rao is a popular name in Telugu film industry and now according to the latest report, a biopic on his on cards. Davala Satyam will be directing Dasari biopic which is titled Darsaka Ratna while Thadivaka Ramesh will be producing it under the banner of Image Films banner. According to the makers, Dasari’ biopic will be made on a huge budget with high technical values.
The makers of Dasari biopic also announced that Dasari Narayana Rao Film and TV National Awards will be presented annually in the honor of Dasari. The script work for Darsaka Ratna biopic has been completed and the project is expected to go on the floor very soon. The makers are planning to bring a popular actor on the board to play the role of Dasari. The makers are finalizing the cast and crew presently.
Dasari Narayana Rao gained national recognition for directing Hindi films such as Wafadaar, Prem Tapasya, Zakhmi Sher, Yaadgaar, Sarfarosh, Swarag Narak, Jyoti Bane Jwala, Pyaasa Sawan, Aaj Ka MLA Ram Avtar, Asha Jyoti.
Dasari Narayana Rao has directed more than one hundred and fifty feature films in a variety of genres. He has received 3 National Film Awards and 9 state Nandi Awards.
