Bangarraju, a sequel to 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana is expected to go on the floor very soon. The film will be helmed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala and Nagarjuna will play the lead role. Now according to the latest report the team of Bangarraju approached Krithi Shetty to play the female lead in this film but she is demanding big bucks to sign Nagarjuna starrer. Krithi Shetty made her debut in Telugu film industry with the romantic drama Uppena in which she romanced Vaishnav Tej under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana.
Apparently, Krithi Shetty quoted a whopping Rs 2 Cr remuneration when the makers of Bangarraju approached her. The makers are planning to rope her in to pair with Naga Chaitanya in this fantasy drama. The huge demand of Krithi Shetty gives a shock to the makers and they are dropping the idea of roping her.
Previously, Krithi Shetty signed Ran Pothineni and Linguswamy starrer RAPOP19 and took home a pay-cheque amounting to Rs 50 lakhs. She signed this project before the release of blockbuster drama Uppena. Now after the release of this film, she has hiked her remuneration.
Currently she is working with Natural Star Nani and Sai Pallavi in Shyam Singha Roy.
