Few days ago, Amazon Prime dropped the trailer of their upcoming action and revenge drama Narappa, starring Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role. The film is a remake of Dhanush starrer Asuran. It is known news that Narappa, which is helmed by Srikanth Addala, will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 20th July. But now the reports are coming that Venkatesh starrer much hyped drama Narappa will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 19th July from 10 PM IST for the Indian audiences. Srikanth Addala’ magnum opus will stream from 12:30 PM for USA audiences.
The film Narappa has been predominantly shot in and around Anantapur. While Venkatesh reprises Dhanush’s role from the original, National award winning actress Priyamani will slip into the shoes of Manju Warrier’ character from Asuran. Based on the popular Tamil novel Vekkai, Dhanush starrer Asuran turned out to be a blockbuster with over Rs 100 crore in gross earnings.
Venkatesh Daggubati and Priyamani starrer Narappa is jointly bankrolled by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu whereas it has the music by Mani Sharma. Few days ago, Narappa team released their first lyrical song on YouTube kick starting the promotional activities.
Coming to other projects, Venkatesh Daggaubti is also working on hilarious entertainer F3.
