Sai Dharam Tej is currently waiting for the release of upcoming political drama Republic, which is helmed by Deva Katta. Recently the makers launched the theme song that grabbed the attention of music lovers. The movie Republic is carrying decent buzz among the movie lovers and it garnered over 1.1 million views. The makers of Republic have already started the promotional activities.
Now according to the latest update, the makers of Republic locked its release date. The sources close to the makers of Republic revealed that Sai Dharam Tej starrer is likely to hit the theaters in the first week of September month. The makers are considering 3rd September its release date.
Republic is jointly produced by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagawan under the JB Entertainments banner in association with Zee Studios. Initially it was slated to hit the theaters in June but it was indefinitely postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
The Supreme actor is playing the role of IAS officer in Republic. Earlier during an interview Sai Tej had said, “I was actually looking for a challenging role to perform and heard this script from the director Deva Katta. This is something that I have never done before.”
