She played the role of terrorist Razi and received a lot of applause for her performance in the Amazon Prime Video web series. Recently she took to her Instagram to share a fun behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the sets of The Family Man 2. In the video, Samantha Akkineni is seen grooving and singing along to her favorite song playing on her smartphone in her rebel force uniform.
Rangasthalam girl said, “For those of you asking me how I prepped for the role, Isssa method yo, Yes, yes the voice this one is for all the bad singers . we know we suck but does it stop us, NO.”
Created by Raj and DK, the web drama The Family Man 2, is set in Chennai. The show also has Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Suman Kumar, Mime Gopi and Azhagam Perumal in pivotal roles. The second season has 9 episodes and it was released on Amazon Prime Video on 4th June.
On the otherside, Samantha will be seen playing the lead role in Gunasekhar’ directorial venture Shakuntalam, which is progressing at the brisk pace in Hyderabad. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is playing king Dushyant.
