On 2nd October, Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced her separation from her husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, later several YouTube channels released videos on the issue. Soon Samantha filed the defamation case against a few YouTube channels for running videos with content that maligned her character. Oh Baby and Majili actress had filed a legal notice against an advocate Venkat Rao, who had allegedly spoken about her marital life while alleging that she had affairs.
Yesterday, Kukatpally high court passed the final orders in this regard and ordered the parties to take down the content that maligned Samantha’ character.
Kukatpally high court ordered that the three YouTube channels that passed derogatory comments and remarks on Samantha Ruth Prabhu should take down the content immediately. And the court also ordered the media outlets not to pass derogatory statements on Samantha in future.
In the wake of the social media trial, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had earlier released a press note addressing the rumors alleging that she was having affairs and have had abortions in the past. By releasing the statement, the actress shut down the trolls and slammed the negative comments against her which have been making rounds online ever since the divorce news broke out.
On the work front, Samantha will be seen playing the lead role in Shakuntalam.
