Yesterday evening the socio political drama republic had its OTT premier on ZEE5 Telugu. Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej who had played the lead role in Republic, watched the movie on Zee5 telugu and thanked everyone for their love which they showered on the movie.
Supreme hero wrote on the wall of Twitter, “Firstly, Thank you all for the love you’re showering for Republic On Zee5. This Friday remains very special for me as I have loved playing Panja Abhiram and yearned to watch with you all. I am watching with team and happy to see you all joining in Republic.”
In this film Sai Dharam Tej played the role of IAS Officer and romanced World Famous Lover fame actress Aishwarya Rajesh. Also starring Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna, the movie was directed by Deva Katta and produced by Bhagawan and Pullarao. The story of the film republic revolves around an IAS officer, who tries to fight corruption in the Indian political system.
Sai Dharam Tej and Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Republic was earlier released in theatres on 1st October but failed to do decent business at the box office. Republic earned a total of Rs 6.65 Cr in ten days. Completing a theatrical run, the film suffered the loss of Rs 5.64 Cr at the box office. However, it received an equal response from the movie lovers and critics for actors’ performances.
