It is known that Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced their separation on 2nd october, 2021 via a joint statement on social media last month. They made the separation announcement just days before their fourth wedding anniversary. Later that month, Samantha also deleted her photographs with Chaitanya from her Instagram. They had a destination wedding in Goa in 2017. Samantha is one of the most loved and popular actresses in South Indian film Industry. Samantha was recently invited to an interactive session with Film Companion. During the session, Rangasthalam and Oh Baby fame actress was asked to describe the year 2021 in one word.
In the video shared by Film Companion on Instagram, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was heard describing 2021 as the ‘rough’ year for her. It seems that the actress is upset after the separation. She was hinting at her divorce.
The fans are reacting on the video and few of them said that they are with her, few asked her to be strong. One of the netizens said: Rough for Sam but we’re always with her.
On the work front, Samantha will be seen playing the titular role in Gunasekhar’ magnum opus Shaakuntalam which has dev Mohan in the lead role.
