If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Kollywood star Dhanush will be seen playing the lead role in Tamil remake of Telugu movie Majili and he will reprise the role of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. After the wedding this was the first when Naga Chaitanya and Samantha collaborated for romantic and emotional drama Majili, which is turning out blockbuster at the box office. Majili has already crossed Rs 50 Cr mark at the worldwide box office in just 10 days. The success of Majili has drawn the attention of film makers from the other languages.
It is heard that a Tamil producer is eyeing on Majili and planning to grab the Tamil remake rights. The sources say that he is planning to rope Dhanush to play the lead role in Majili remake. If everything will go accordingly, Dhanush will be seen reprising the role of Naga Chaitanya in its Tamil version.
Currently Dhanush is busy with his commitments. If he finds the script and narration interesting, the Tamil remake of Majili will go on the floor very soon.
Kollywood star Dhanush started his career with Thulluvadho Ilamai in 2002. directed by his father, Kasthuri Raja. Over the last 15 years, Dhanush has starred in over 25 films. He won the Best Actor award at 58th National Film Awards for his performance in Aadukalam in 2010. Dhanush has produced several movies through his production company, Wunderbar Films. Dhanush was last seen in Maari 2 in which he shared the screen space with Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi. Currently he is waiting for the release of upcoming movie Enai Noki Paayum Thota and busy in Asuran.
On the other-side, Samantha is waiting for the arrival of her upcoming movie Oh Baby, the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny in which Naga Shaurya is playing he lead role and Naga Chaitanya is busy in the shoot of Venky Mama.
