Dr Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha too have joined YSRCP in the presence of YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. They called on Jaganmohan Reddy at his Lotus Pond residence and formally joined the party. it is known news that several Tollywood celebrities have joined YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’ party and now it was the turn of Rajasekhar and Jeevitha to join YSRCP. Earlier the couple have worked for Congress party and Telugu Desam party (TDP).
Jeevitha and Rajasekhar had joined the Congress in 2008 when Jaganmohan Reddy’s father YS Rajasekhara Reddy was the Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. After YSR’s death, they backed Jaganmohan Reddy in the revolt against Congress leadership. They were with him when he floated YSR Congress but later they distanced themselves.
In 2014, Jeevitha and Rajasekhar had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but were not rewarded with suitable positions.
The couple Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are known for switching parties frequently. After joining YSRC party, both Jeevitha and Rajasekhar said they had solved the problems they had with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Rajasekhar also added, “Today’s Jagan Mohan Reddy is different from the earlier Jagan.”
Rajasekhar and Jeevitha appealed to people of Andhra Pradesh to give a chance to Jaganmohan Reddy to serve them.
On the other hand, actress Hema too has joined YSRCP today. Anchor Shyamala and her husband Narasimha Reddy too have joined YSRCP today.
