Jersey Collections: Natural Star Nani starrer sport based drama Jersey which was released on 19th April, has turned out money spinner at the box office. Nani thanked his fans and movie lovers to make his movie at the box office. Nani wrote on his Twitter, “This is overwhelming .. Team #Jersey is filled with pride and gratitude.. the love and support you all have given will always be cherished .. humbled Babu moshai… zindagi badi honi chahiye.. lambi nahiii :)) Mee Arjun (Nani).” Nani starrer Jersey has finally joined the club of $1 Million mark at the USA box office. Jersey has achieved this feat on the fifth day of its release and it is Nani’ 6th movie which has crossed $1 Million marks in USA.
Until Monday, Nani starrer Jersey minted a gross of $956,114. The trade Analyst Jeevi has also confirmed this news via his post on Twitter. Jeevi Tweeted, “#Jersey collects $43,381 on Monday in USA and total gross is $956,805. It will cross $1 Million dollar mark on Tuesday! He again tweeted, “#Jersey crosses $1 Million mark in USA on the morning of Tuesday! Congratulations!!”
The traders are expecting that Jersey will beat Nani’s previous best Bhale Bhale Magadivoi’s lifetime US collection ($1.429 Million) by the end of its full run.
Jersey is 6th movie of Nani which has entered in the club of $1 Million at US Box office. Earlier, his movies such as Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Majnu, Nenu Local, MCA and Awe joined $1M club at the US box office.
Jersey is directed by Goutham Tinnanuri and is bankrolled under Sithara Entertainments. U Turn fame Shraddha Srinadh is playing the female lead. Kollywood sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander has provided the tunes.
Apart from Jersey, Nani is also working with Vikram Kumar of 24, Manam and Hello fame for an upcoming project Gang Leader.
