Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally are coming together with an upcoming movie Maharshi, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th May. Currently the entire team is busy in the promotional activities of Maharshi. According to the latest buzz, run-time of Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi has been locked to 2 hours 55 minutes. As the movie has lengthy run time, it is giving shock to everyone. But Mahesh Babu’ fans are not worried about the lengthy run time of Maharshi.
It is known news that Sukumar’s directorial venture, the village based drama Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan & Samantha Akkineni had run time – 180 minutes and Koratala Shiva’s Bharat Ane Nanu starring Mahesh Babu & Kiara Adavani had 173 minute (run time), too have long duration. Run time of Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and Pooja Hegde was also locked to 2 hour 47 minutes (167 minutes). Both the movies Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu were blockbuster at the box office and created several records at the box office. Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava was also hit in few areas.
Though Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel starrer Naa Peru Surya, which had 168 minutes and NTR Kathanayakudu (170 minutes long run time), were bombed at the box office. But the run time of Maharshi shouldn’t be a worrying factor. It is always the actual content that has been a problem. Will Vamsi Paidipally take care of that issue? We will know in few days. Sankranthi released movie F2 Fun and Frustration has won millions of hearts and also turned out money spinner whereas few movies like NTR Biopic and Vinya Vidheya Rama became fail to impress the audiences. After Majili and Jersey, now all eyes are on Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer upcoming movie Maharshi.
Recently released songs, teasers, posters and promos of Maharshi have already generated good buzz and the expectations are very high.
