Mahesh Babu is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming movie Maharshi, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th May. It is known news that Mahesh Babu has teamed up for Anil Ravipudi for a movie. The sources close to the film unit reveal that upcoming project of Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi has been titled as Sarileru Neekevvaru. The title sounds pleasant. Apparently, Sarileru Neekevvaru is going to be a wholesome family entertainer like Anil Ravipudi’s previous offerings.
Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru marks comeback of yesteryear actress Vijayashanti and it is heard that she will be seen playing the role of Mahesh Babu’ mother in this film. Popular comedian and film maker Bandla Ganesh is also making his comeback as an actor after a long gap with this film. He has also signed to do a key role in the film, which will be jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara.
The makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru reportedly approached Sai Pallavi to play the female lead, however, the Fidaa girl turned down the offer as she was upset with Mahesh Babu fans for trolling her. Thereafter, they approached Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna who opted out due to date issues.
It has also come out that Jagapathi Babu, the most wanted villain in the south Indian film circuit right now, will be playing the antagonist in Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru. The film is supposed to be launched next month and the shooting will commence from June, this year, say sources. They are planning to release the film Sarileru Neekevvaru on the occasion of Sanakranthi 2020.
Currently all eyes are on Maharshi, which is being produced jointly by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri under the banners Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema.
