It is known news that Akkineni Nagarjuna has decided to do a prequel to his blockbuster movie Soggade Chinni Nayana and he has registered ‘Bangarraju’ for the title of the sequel. Once again the prequel will be helmed by Kalyan Krishna. The story is going to revolve around the story of Bangarraju. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, lady superstar Nayantara will be seen romancing with Akkineni Nagarjuna in upcoming village based romantic entertainer Bangarraju. The pre production work has been already started. The sources close to Kalyan Krishna has revealed that the makers are planning to bring Nayantara on the board to play the female lead and they have already contacted to her. The actress is very impressed with her character and yet to give green signal.
If everything will go as per plan, Nayantara will be seen in Nagarjuna starrer Bangarraju.
Currently Nagarjuna is busy in his upcoming movie Manmadhudu 2, which is being helmed by Rahul Ravindran. The shooting was on from the past 7 days in Hyderabad and the latest we hear is that the makers have wrapped up the first schedule. The team of Manmadhudu 2 will take a small break and will head to Portugal to can a big schedule. Very soon Nagarjuna will also join the sets of Bangarraju.
Currently Nayantara is also busy in her upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role. Apart from Sye Raa Nayantara is also busy in her upcoming Malayalam movie Love Action Drama.
Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishnan and Lavanya Tripathi starrer Soggade Chinni Nayana was made on a budget of Rs 20 Cr and its theatrical rights were sold for Rs 18 Cr. The movie grossed over Rs 70 Cr at the worldwide box office and earned Rs 45 Cr for its distributors. Nagarjuna has played dual roles as Cardiologist Ram Mohan and Bangarraju in the movie.
