Kangana Ranaut, who has worked with young Rebel Star Prabhas in Ek Niranjan, has insulted none other than young actress Alia Bhatt publicly , who is on the board to play the female lead in Rajamouli’ upcoming much awaited directorial venture RRR. An online poll conducted for best actress found Kangana Ranaut defeating Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt for her performance in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi compared to Alia Bhatt’ Gully Boy. She got 37% votes to Alia Bhatt’ 33%.
When Kangana Ranaut was asked about it, she replied, “I feel embarrassed. What’s there to beat in Gully Boy performance? Media have taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering the mediocre work or else bar will never be raised.”
Finally Gully Boy and Student Of The Year girl Alia Bhatt responded on Kangana Ranaut’ comments and said, “I respect Kangana Ranaut’ work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi.” Currently Alia Bhatt is busy in the promotional activities of her upcoming movie Kalank, which is gearing up for grand release on 17th April 2019.
This is not the first time, Queen and Manikarnika fame Kangana Ranaut targeted Alia Bhatt in her interviews. Earlier in the month of February, Kangana Ranaut has said that Alia Bhatt “grows some spine” and supports the movies about the woman empowerment and nationalism.
Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in Panga and Mental Hai Kya? Apart from these movies, she will also play the role of Jayalalithaa in upcoming biopic. On the other side, Alia Bhatt will be seen romancing with Ram Charan in Rajamouli’ RRR.
