During the press meet of RRR, Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli made official announcement regarding the female leads of his upcoming much prestigious project RRR in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan and young Tiger Jr NTR are playing the lead role. Rajamouli roped, Alia Bhatt, the daughter of Bollywood maker Mahesh Bhatt, to play the female lead in RRR. Mahesh’ s daughter Alia Bhatt is cast opposite Ram Charan and will be seen essaying the role of Sita. Recently during the media interaction Alia Bhatt opened up about how she got the role in RRR. According to Alia Bhatt, she turned beggar to get the role in RRR.
Alia Bhatt said, “ I had bumped into SS Rajamouli sir at an airport and I begged him for a role in RRR. That time he had not cast for female lead yet.” She added, “ Rajamouli was worried about my timelines. So I told him whatever be the timelines, I will make it happen. We made it happen.”
Finally Rajamouli made Mahesh Bhatt’ daughter Alia Bhatt a beggar. The actress is very excited about her debut in Tollywood and she has already started learning Telugu.
About leaning Telugu language, Alia Bhatt said, “It’s is a challenge. Telugu is a very tough language to learn, but it is an expressive language. I want to understand the nuances of the Telugu language, why certain words are pronounced the way they are, and what they convey. Only then will I be able to express the feelings of my character.”
Rajamouli’ RRR is a fictitious tale of two freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju whereas Jr NTR plays Komaram Bheem. The movie is being produced by DVV Danayya, and it is set in the 1920s.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in recently released Hindi movie Kalank, which received negative review on its opening day.
