Few days ago, the makers of Darbar released the first look poster which went viral. The regular shoot of Rajinikanth and Nayantara starrer Darbar has been already started in Mumbai. Rajinikanth starrer Darbar, which is being directed by AR Murugudoss has hit the headlines over plagiarism. According to the latest buzz, the poster of Darbar is copied from Hollywood movie Killing Gunther.
A section of people has found Rajinikanth starrer Darbar poster a copy of Hollywood film Killing Gunther starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. On the other side, the poster designer, Vinci Raj has denied it.
Recently during an interview, Vinci Raj revealed how he saw Killing Gunther poster for the first time now. He said, “After Kaala and Kabali, I got the chance the chance to work with Superstar Rajinikanth sir for the third time. I am his fan. I wanted to give my best for Thalaivar167. I felt bad after hearing that people are saying that I have copied the design of Darbar poster from Hollywood movie Killing Gunther.”
Coming on both the posters of Darbar and Killing Gunther posters, there are few similarities. The stars are seen wearing similar sunglasses, framed in centre, surrounded by the guns and other miscellaneous objects.
One netizen tagged Killing Gunther helmer Taran Killam on social media site Twitter and wrote, “Dude @TaranKillam , you will ask poster look copyright??”
Killing Gunther is an American action comedy movie, helmed by Taran Killam. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as the titular Gunther alongside Killam, Cobie Smulders, and Bobby Moynihan.
