Rakul Preet Singh, the beautiful actress, has shared the screen space with number of top stars of Telugu film Industry, is now not able to sign movies of big stars. In Tollywood Rakul Preet Singh was last seen playing the female lead in Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder, which was helmed by Sarkar fame A R Murugadoss, and was ended up commercially flop at the box office. While Rakul Preet Singh has interesting Bollywood movies in her kitty, she has now Manmadhudu 2 in Telugu in which she will be seen sharing the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in an upcoming untitled film, which will be directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti and young actor Nithiin will play the lead role.
Though the Chandrasekhar Yeleti is popular for making the movies which has nicely defined characterizations for heroes and heroines but he is one of the film makers who never tasted commercial success. Now Rakul Preet Singh will have to prove her acting prowess in Nithiin starrer film to stay in Tollywood for a longer time.
Director Chandrasekhar Yeleti continues to be choosy. Ever since his last release Manamantha starring Mohanlal got critical acclaim, he has been searching for an out-of-the-box plot. It looks like he has finally found one!
It is heard that Nithiin, Rakul Preet Singh and Chandrasekhar Yeleti’ silm will be high on drama and action. The director is known for making thriller and adventure-based movies. The upcoming project will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, which have bankrolled movies like Srimanthudu, Rangastalam etc which became blockbusters. The producers are not only doing high budget movies with star heroes but also trying to do a different kind of movie.
Rakul Preet Singh is currently busy in the promotional activities of her upcoming Bollywood movie De De Pyaar De starring Tabu and Ajay Devgn.
Nithiin was last seen in Srinivasa Kalyanam and currently he is busy in his upcoming movie Bheeshma.
