Majili starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni has crushed the record of their previous offering ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ but not in the terms of box office Collections but with IMDB rating. IMDb is the world’s most popular and highly trusted source for movies where the viewers can vote for their respective movie on the scale of 1 to 10. According to the latest update, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya starrer romantic and emotional drama ‘Majili‘ has received a rating- 8 on IMDB whereas their old movie ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ was rated 7.7 on the same site. In this manner Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have crushed their own record on IMDb.
‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, written and directed by Gautham Menon, and produced by Manjula Ghattamaneni under the banner Indira Productions, was released in 2010. The movie was made on the budget of Rs 12.5 Cr budget and it earned Rs 20 Cr at the box office. It is known news that both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya fell in love during the shoot of ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’.
Post wedding Naga Chaitanya and Samantha teamed up for Majili and as it was their first collaboration after the wedding, the expectations were very high. According to the traders report, Majili has already crossed Rs 50 Cr marks at the worldwide box office in just 10 days and is running successfully at the box office.
