Why is Shahid Kapoor singing Prabhas praises?

Padmaavat fame Shahid Kapoor is currently busy in his upcoming movie Kabir Singh, the remake of Telugu hit film ‘Arjun Reddy’ in which Vijay Deverakonda and Shailini Pandey played the lead roles and the movie was blockbuster at the box office. Few days ago the makers of Kabir Singh released the teaser, which went viral and grabbed several eyeballs. Everyone praised Shahid Kapoor for his performance. Baahubali star Prabhas was also one of them, who showered praises for Shahid Kapoor’ performance in Kabir Singh teaser and talked with him through phone. Though it was also heard that it was just a rumor because Prabhas did not spoke about Shahid Kapoor and Kabir Singh teaser.

Now it is being heard that when Shahid Kapoor was asked about his conversation with Prabhas, the Bollywood actor responded and said that Prabhas was very kind. According to Prabhas, he did not talk Shahid Kapoor, then why is Shahid Kapoor singing Prabhas’ praises?

Shahid Kapoor said, “I spoke to Prabhas and he was very kind. He is Mahendra Baahubali for everyone, it was encouraging to get such kind words from him because the Hindi audience might not know that Arjun Reddy is an iconic Telugu movie and it received a lot of love from the movie lovers.”

Shahid Kapoor is playing the role of Kabir Singh in the movie, which is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film which has Kiara Advani in female lead role, will hit the theaters on 21st June 2019.

Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh will compete with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya , which is releasing on 21st June.

On the other-side, young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently working with Sujeeth for action entertainer Saaho, in which Bollywood babe Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead role. Prabahs starrer Saaho will arrive at the theaters on 15th August 2019 on the occasion of Independence day.
