Nayantara, is one of top actress of south Indian Film Industry. Currently Nayantara’ kitty is full with some really big projects both in Tamil and Telugu. Recently during the media interaction Nayantara revealed that acting in Ghajini was her mistake and career decision.
When she was asked about to make comments on her successful movies like Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Sivakasi, Kalvanin Kathali and Telugu film Lakshmi, which were superhit at the box office. Nayantara replied, “Yes I am lucky to be a part of these hit movies. Though I have to confess on hindsight that the worst decision that I ever took was to do that role in AR Murugadoss’ directorial venture Ghajini. My role in the movie did not shape out the way it was narrated to me and I was photographed badly. But I have no complaints as I consider all that as a learning experience.”
Lady Superstar Nayantara further said, “Chandramukhi with Rajnikanth sir and the song number with Vijay in Sivakasi gave me immense reach among the masses. And when Vijay himself says before the song- “Nayantara vaaa?”, it registered in the mind of the viewers, created an aura, which really did wonders to my popularity.”
According to Nayantara, doing Ghajini was her worst career decision. AR Murugadoss directed Ghajini in which Surya and Asin played the lead role whereas Lady Nayantara played an important role. Currently Nayantara is busy in her upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role.
