If ongoing buzz in media and film industry are to be believed, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will play the lead role in the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Bollywood producer Ashwin Varde has acquired the remake rights of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo for a record price of Rs 8 Crs.
There are strong talks in the film industry that Akshay Kumar may play the lead role in the remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo but things will be finalized once the lockdown period of coronavirus comes to an end. The script work of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starts once the director of the film gets locked. Let’s wait for the official announcement regarding Akshay Kumar’ Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
On the otherside, currently Akshay Kumar, who made his south debut with Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, is working for Hindi remake of a very popular South drama ‘Kanchana’, which is titled as Laxmmi Bomb. Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani is playing the female lead in the film. Akshay Kumar plays the lead role who gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender, while Kiara Advani is playing Akshay Kumar’ girlfriend in the movie.
Recently Akshay Kumar was in the news headlines when he donated Rs 25 Cr to Prime Minister relief fund.
