The shoot of Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming big budget film Acharya has been halted due to lockdown. It is known news that as Acharya is being helmed by Koratala Siva, is carrying a social message for the society. As Trisha Krishnan has been walked out from the project, the makers have roped Kajal Aggarwal to romance with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star. Recently during the media interaction, Chiranjeevi attended an interview and spoke about Acharya, which is being jointly bankrolled by his son Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy.
Speaking to a media house on phone, Megastar Chiranjeevi admitted his role in Koratala Siva’ directorial venture Acharya, is something similar to Jr NTR’ role in Janatha Garage, which was also helmed by Kortala Siva of Bharat Ane Nenu fame.
Those who have watched Janatha Garage starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and Malayalam Star Mohanlal, know well that in this film, Tarak essayed the role of nature’ lover. In Acharya, Chiranjeevi will make his screen presence in the role of a professor who fights for conservation of natural resources. Moreover, Khaidi No 150 star will also be seen as a former naxalite.
Apart from co-producing Acharya, Ram Charan will also play a cameo in Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya, which has the music by Mani Sharma.
