Jana Sena president and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan urged the governments to provide enough protection and security to the journalists and cameramen. Gabbar Singh star appealed to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers to provide insurance cover for journalists.
Pawan Kalyan released a press note that reads, “In both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the journalists are touring from one place to another and providing the information when India is fighting against Coronavirus. Some journalists have been quarantined in some parts in Telangana. The State governments must provide the necessary health security and insurance cover to the journalists. I also request the media organizations and the journalist unions to provide necessary health protection to the journalists.”
On the work front, Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in the acting field with Vakeel Saab, which is remake Pink, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Tappsee Pannu. The courtroom drama which has Anjali and Nivetha Thomas in crucial roles, is being directed by Venu Sriram. The shoot of the film Vakeel Saab, jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, has been stalled due to coronavirus outbreak. Apart from Vakeel Saab, Pawan Kalyan is also working with Krish for a periodic entertainer and will soon start to work with Harish Shankar for his next.
