Bollywood producer Karim Morani’ loving daughter Shaza Morani tested Covid-19, Coronavirus +ive yesterday on 6th April. Shaza Morani had returned from Sri Lanka in the 1st week of March month and another daughter Zoa returned from Rajasthan on 16th March. Shaza Morani had initially no symptoms, but later she developed. When Zoa Morani also showed mild symptoms, the parents got tested both the daughters. Shaza tested +ive for CoronaVirus, Zoa tested –ive.
The producer Karim Morani has bankrolled many Bollywood movies including Shah RukhKhan starrer Ra.One, Happy New Year, Chennai Express, and Dilwale. Karim Morani and his brother Aly Morani has Cineyug, which is a film production and the event management company. In 2017, Karim Morani was booked by Hyderabad police for the rape of a 25 years old Delhi based student.
Shaza Morani was tested +ive for the virus on the evening of 5th April and since then the Morani house is under lockdown. 9 other family members are to be screened for the Coronavirus on 6th April.
Shaza Morani is currently undergoing treatment at Nanavati hospital, Mumbai. Baby doll Singer Kanika Kapoor was the 1st Bollywood celebrity to test +ive on 20th March.
As of Monday evening, the number of covid-19 cases rose to 4,281 in India with the pandemic claiming 111 lives.
