Marathi actor Ashutosh Bhakre ended his life by committing suicide. Ashutosh Bhakre allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself at his home in Nanded town in the Marathwada region on wednesday.
The incident came to light this afternoon when Ashutosh Bhakre was found hanging by his parents at his flat in the Ganesh Nagar area of the town in central Maharashtra.
Ashutosh Bhakre was the husband of Marathi actress Mayuri Deshmukh, who came in limelight after her role in Marathi serial Khulta Kali Khulena. Ashutosh had acted in few Marathi movies like Bhakar and Ichar Tharla Pakka. The reason behind the Ashutosh Bhakre’ suicide was not yet known.
According to the police, Ashutosh Bhakre was suffering from depression since the last few days and he had recently shared a video on microblogging page in which he analyzed why does a person commit suicide.
The accidental death case has been registered at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station in Nanded, around 575km from Mumbai, and police are investigating this case.
According to the police officials, they have registered an accidental death report as per standard procedure. They have recorded a statement from Ashutosh’ father, and he hasn’t blamed anyone for what happened. They have not spoken to any other family members as they are still coming to terms with the loss.
