The Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman says that he is not getting enough work in Bollywood because there is a whole gang working against him.. The musician AR Rahman composed nine songs for Sushant Singh Rajput‘ last film Dil Bechara that premiered on Disney+Hotstar on 24th June and received positive response by the movie lovers and the critics. During an interview, when AR Rahman was asked why he doesn’t compose more music for Hindi movies, he said that some people in Hindi film Industry have been spreading false rumors about him. The musician AR Rahman added, ” I don’t say no to good films, but I think there is a gang in Bollywood, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumors. When Dil Bechara helmer Mukesh Chhabra came to me , I gave him four songs in two days. Mukesh told me, ‘Many people said don’t go, don’t go to him AR Rahman and they told me stories after stories.’”
On the otherside, the film maker Shekhar Kapur says music maestro AR Rahman has often faced difficulties in Bollywood because of his Oscar wins. Sekhar Kapur made the remark after Rahman’ latest interview, where he said that there was a gang working against him in Hindi film Industry, resulting in him getting fewer film.
In past, Shekhar Kapur has collaborated with AR Rahman for Elizabeth.
