The film Rudhramadevi was narrated by Megastar Chiranjeevi. The film’ soundtrack and background score was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, while the costumes were designed by Neeta Lulla.
On its release day, Rudhramadevi received positive response by the movie lovers and the critics. Anushka Shetty starrer became the fifth highest opening day grossing Indian film of 2015 as it earned Rs 32 crores worldwide in the opening weekend.
Rudhramadevi was one of the female rulers who was the only heir of her father to carry the legacy of ruling the kingdom. She is well known in the regions of Andhra Pradesh, as a great warrior who is known to possess the power of ten men.
