The shooting of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab Telugu remake of Bollywood film Pink is progressing at the brisk pace in Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan is expected to join the sets very soon. Gabbar Singh star is reprising Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original. Amidst the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, the makers of Vakeel Saab successfully completed shooting a major portion of the film which happened in and around Hyderabad.
Now, according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers of Vakeel Saab will be coming up with a formal announcement regarding the release date of Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer on the occasion of Dusshera. The reports are also coming that Vakeel Saab will hit the theaters on the eve of Sankranthi 2021.
The court room drama Vakeel Saab has Shruti Haasan, Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya Nagalla. It is being helmed by Sriram Venu and produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor.
Tamil version of Pink, directed by H Vinoth, Nerkonda Paarvai was released last year, which had Ajith in the role of a lawyer with bipolar issues, and it went on to strike gold at the box office earning over Rs 150 Cr worldwide. The movie Pink is the story of 3 women, who are aided by a lawyer in a molestation case against 3 boys from influential backgrounds.
