Few months ago, there was strong buzz in the film industry that star heroine Samantha Akkineni is going to join hands with Game Over director Ashwin Saravanan for a dark thriller drama in which Rangasthalam girl will be playing a physically challenging role. When the filmmaker Ashwin Saravanan had narrated the script to Samantha, she was so impressed with the female centric role.
The story of this horror flick was set in Dehradun. Prasanna was roped in to play the male lead in this horror thriller. Now, the latest update is that Samantha and Prasanna’ project was kept on hold due to reasons unknown. Now the latest buzz in that with no option left, the film maker Ashwin Saravanan is planning to make a fresh project with Taapsee Pannu.
It is known news that in past both Taapsee Pannu and Ashwin Saravanan have worked together for a film Game Over. Ashwin Saravanan’ last film release was Game Over, which was also a heroine-centric film that was bankrolled by S Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra under the banner of Y Not Studios and Reliance Entertainments.
Meanwhile Samantha who is popular for acting in Majili, Oh Baby and Ranagsthalam is making her debut in Web World with The Family Man 2.
