Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to resume work for his upcoming film Acharya,  which is being directed by Koratala Siva.  Acharya has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role and Mega Power Star Ram Charan in crucial roles. After wrapping up the shoot of Acharya, Chiranjeevi will start working for his next Telugu film, which is remake of Malayalam movie Lucifer in which Mohanlal played the lead role.

It is known news that Chiranjeevi has brought VV Vinayak on the board to helm Lucifer remake and the pre production work has been started.  Now the reports are coming that Chiranjeevi hired the services of writer Akula Siva to set the script  of Lucifer to Telugu nativity.

Akula Siva is very close to the director VV Vinayak and he is one of a close friend of him. In past both VV Vinayak and Akula Siva have worked together for several movies and now both are going to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi for Lucifer remake.The regular shoot of this remake will star post the Sankranthi season 0f 2021.

The original film Lucifer, which marked the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, saw Mohanlal essaying the lead role. In the Telugu remake, Chiranjeevi will reprise Mohanlal role.
