Young Rebel Star Prabhas has collaborated with Om Raut of Tanhaji fame for an upcoming project Titled Adipurush, which is one of the much hyped movies of Telugu film industry. It was recently officially announced that Saif Ali Khan will play the dreadful Lankesh/ Ravana’s character in Prabhas starrer. And recently it was also heard that Ajay Devgn is being cast as Lord Shiva.
The latest update from the camp is that all these reports are false and Ajay Devgn is not doing any such role in Adipurush. The sources say that though Ajay Devgn was offered Saif Ali Khan’ role but he rejected it. So, the makers are now looking for a star hero who can essay the role of Lord Shiva.
Prabhas and Om Raut’ film Adipurush is an Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. The movie Adipurush will be shot as a bilingual in Telugu and Hindi. And later it will be dubbed and released in other languages such as Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and several foreign languages.
Meanwhile, Prabhas has resumed shooting for his upcoming romantic movie Radhe Shyam in Italy which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead role and it is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame.
