Gunasekhar is one of the popular film makers of Telugu Film Industry. He helmed the Children’s classic Ramayanam in 1997, which won the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film, and the film was also screened at the International Children’s Film Festival of India. Gunasekhar’ last directorial and production venture was woman centric movie Rudhramadevi in which Anushka Shetty played the lead roles. This time Gunasekhar and his team took to social media to clear the air about rumors and make it clear that he has no interest in making anything for OTT platforms.
Gunasekhar is currently waiting for Rana Daggubati for his upcoming mythological drama Hiranyakashyapa. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Gunasekhar had approached an OTT platform with a script for a web-series but that he was turned down. They also claimed that the filmmaker will rework on the script.
Now the team of Gunasekhar said that the film maker has Never approached any OTT platforms be it Netflix or any other, neither he has any interest in that orientation. So don’t believe, carry or spread such type of baseless rumors.
Last year in the month of January, Gunasekhar made an announcement that his next film would be a mythological film Hiranyakashyapa with Baahubali star Rana Daggubati in the lead role.
