It is known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi will step into the shoes of Ajith Kumar for the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster movie ‘Vedalam’. ‘Billa’ fame Meher Ramesh is on the board to helm this remake. The sources say that the senior hero Chiranjeevi is impressed with the changes made to the original script to suit his image and regional sensibilities.
Everyone was shocked when Chiranjeevi announced that his next project Vedalam remake would be helmed by Meher Ramesh. And now the reports are coming that the director Meher Ramesh has succeeded in coming up with a bound script and even got the final approval from the Megastar Chiranjeevi himself.
The reports are coming that the makers are considering the name of National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi to essay the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister.
Meanwhile Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Vedalam’ remake is expected to go on floors once Chiranjeevi wraps up his present film ‘Acharya’ under the direction of Koratala Siva. The social message oriented film Acharya has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. To be produced by Anil Sunkara and Ram Charan, the untitled project will be a commercial potboiler with a powerful flashback, revenge angle, sentiments and pinches of comedy.
