The young actor Naga Shaurya starrer action and the family drama Aswathama was released this year in the month of January but the movie failed to impress the movie lovers. Though everyone appreciated the performance of Naga Shaurya but it was ended up commercially flop at the box office.
Aswathama was directed by Ramana Teja and produced by Usha Mulpuri under Ira Creations banner, the film had Mehreen Kaur Pirzada in the female lead role. After a few months, Naga Shaurya starrer Aswathama was aired on television and witnessed a record of 9.10 TRPs during its first small screen premiere.
Later, again Aswathama was aired for the second time a couple of months back and recorded 5.41 TRPs. In the last week, again Naga Sharya starrer Aswathama had its third time premiere on television and registered 5.61 TRPs. With this kind of impressive TRPs for Aswathama, we can say that the movie is hit among the family audience.
Apart from the lead pair, the film Aswathama also had Jisshu Sengupta, Harish Uthaman and Posani Krishna Murali in the supporting roles. Naga Shaurya himself penned the story, whereas Teja wrote the screenplay. Manoj Reddy handled the cinematography work whereas Anbariv choreographed the action sequences.
