Padmavat fame actress is a highly bankable and every film announcement of hers creates havoc on social media. Few days back, when she announced her film with Baahubali and Saaho fame Prabhas , which is produced by Vyjayanthi movies and directed by Ashwin Nag, the internet went berserk. Needless to say, being one of the star actresses in India, Deepika charges hefty remuneration for her films. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Deepika Padukone has charged a whopping fee for her debut film in the Telugu film industry.
The sources say that Deepika Padukone is charging over Rs 8 Cr for Prabhas starrer, which also has Bollywood megastar Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan in the crucial role.
The prestigious pan-Indian cinema, which is touted to be a science fiction drama, will be released in multiple languages.
The entertainment industry is suffering huge losses to the coronavirus pandemic and most of the actors are taking cut in their remuneration to support the producers. In such a situation, many wonder the producers of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’ film agreed to pay fatty paycheck to Deepika. While Mirchi star Prabhas has Radhe Shyam coming up next, Deepika Padukone will work on Shakun Batra’s upcoming film.
