Tamil actor Dhanush is playing the role of Madurai based gangster in an upcoming action drama Jagame Thandhiram, which is being helmed by Karthik Subbaraj. Today morning the makers of Jagame Thandhiram released a trailer that features Dhanush as a witty gangster and he promises that the upcoming drama has lot of fun. He travels from Madurai to London and locks the horn with a local gangster played by James Cosmo of Game of Thrones fame. Hollywood actor James Cosmo is making his debut in the Indian film industry with Dhanush starrer Jagame Thandhiram.
The upcoming much hyped action thriller Jagame Thandhiram, which marks the maiden collaboration between Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj will premiere 18th June on Netflix. Producer S Sashikanth of Y Not Studio finally announced that Dhanush starrer will release on Netflix.
Jagame Thandhiram was originally supposed to release in cinemas in the month of April 2020. However, the release was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The makers eventually announced that the movie will skip the cinema halls and release directly on Netflix.
The film also has Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sanchana Natrajan, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan and Vadivukkarasi in the crucial roles.
Dhanush was last seen on screen in Tamil drama Karnan, and he is currently shooting for his upcoming Netflix film The Gray Man by Russo Brother.
