Versatile actor Kamal Haasan is planning to do Papanasam 2 before starting the shooting of Lokesh Kanagaraj’ directorial venture Vikram. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, this time that the makers might not rope in Gautami.
As Kamal Haasan and Gautami had parted ways in 2016 after being in a romantic relationship, it is being heard that the makers have decided to go ahead with the film without Gautami on the board. For the people who don’t know, ‘ Papanasam’ is the remake of ‘Drushyam’ which came out in 2014.
It is known news that Malayalam star Mohan Lal starrer action and thriller drama ‘Drushyam 2’ arrived on Amazon Prime recently and got wonderful reviews. Venkatesh is also working on its Telugu version and Kamal is also planning to complete ‘Papanasam 2’ as soon as possible. In the first part, Gautami was seen as the wife of Kamal Haasan but it may not happen for the second part. The sources say that the makers are planning to replace Gautami with Meena.
Jeethu Joseph who helmed the original and the Telugu version will be handling the Tamil version starring Kamal Haasan too. We need to see when this project Papanasam 2 goes on floors.
