Venkatesh was last seen playing the lead role in action and revenge drama Narappa, which was a remake of the Tamil action film Asuran. The movie which had national award winning actress Priyamani in the crucial role, was premiered digitally on 20th July and it received the positive response by the movie lovers and the critics. It was, not surprisingly, compared to the original version with most movie lovers describing it as a ‘faithful’ adaptation of the film Asuran. Megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela gave a positive review on Venkatesh’s Narappa movie and appreciated the actor for his awesome transformation.
Chiranjeevi took to his twitter and shared a video clip, and said, “Congratulations. I have just watched Venkatesh and Priyamani starrer Narappa. Wow, what a performance and what a transformation? I did not see Venkatesh Daggubati because I witnessed Narappa throughout the film. Watched a new Venkatesh and you have owned the Narappa character with such depth. The movie ‘Narappa’ will remain one of the best films in your career.”
On the other side, Venkatesh thanked Chiranjeevi and said, “Its a moment of happiness listening to every word of your appreciation Chiranjeevi. Overwhelmed and humbled for your feedback on Narappa. Thank you Megastar.”
On the otherside, Chiranjeevi is waiting for the release of Acharya, which is on the verge of completion.
